Earth Economics is working with the landowners in the Puget Sound to make the case for investing green infrastructure. This initiative focuses on three key components: (1) Generating buy-in through awareness building and stakeholder engagement; (2) Making a strong business case through place-based, economic analysis and; and (3) Bring investment to scale through the analysis and development of supporting policies and financial tools.
Over the next year we will engage with public and private stakeholders to understand the barriers and opportunities to GI development in the Puget Sound, and will release an online decision-support tool to make the economic case for green infrastructure project through place-based analysis.
