ENGAGING THOUGHT LEADERS WITH
NATURE-BASED SOLUTIONS 

In partnership with 100 Resilient Cities (100RC), we formed relationships with city leaders from around the globe to help communities invest in nature as the foundation of economically, socially, and environmentally sound development. At the #100RCSummit in New York City, we organized and led a Living Lab that exposed international leaders to the diverse benefits of urban green space. This interactive tour of Jamaica Bay Park, one of the most popular in the country, connected leaders to real-world, hands-on examples of how restoring shorelines can create cost-effective buffers to storms and floods, accessible recreation space for thriving communities, and valuable habitat in support of critical biodiversity.
