supporting communities to make equitable green infrastructure investments 

Our ongoing partnership with The Kresge Foundation is improving the resilience of urban communities. In 2017, we began offering analytical expertise to Kresge grantee organizations, so communities around the country can make smart investments in resilience. For example, we partnered with The Point, a non-profit that aims to revitalize the economy and culture of Hunts Point, New York. In support of this mission, we helped the community weigh the holistic benefits and costs of proposed flood risk reduction projects and potential green infrastructure installations. This work laid the foundation to support other communities seeking to implement resilience projects that achieve the outcomes that they want.
